Abdominal Massage for Constipation
Ate a little too much the day before or feeling a little constipation? Here's a simple abdominal massage to help things along.
How to do it:
This can also be lying down with knees bent and feet on the floor or standing.
Massage your abdomen area in a circular manner from right to left. This follows the direction of the large intestines. It would be helpful to use a little massage oil if you are massaging directly on the skin to avoid abrasion.
Massage for about 5 minutes. Your abdomen area may feel a little warm after.
Things to note:
This is best done on an empty stomach in the morning.
If your belly is quite full, you may feel slight discomfort while doing this. Should you feel pain, please do not continue further and seek a doctor's advice.
This is not suitable for pregnant ladies.
